Jac raised the bar massively for the way we engaged our customers in the design process at Style Arcade.

She brought a wealth of experience and from day 1 engaged people across the business to understand how they fit into the picture. Building those relationships helped her collaborate broadly and bring different insights into the design of the customer experience and product direction.

This meant we were able to mature the entire approach to product development for the better.

Jac has an incredible eye for beauty, whilst also able to balance feature requirements and pragmatics to design a product in a way users love.

Jacalin spoke to our cohort of 200 Bachelor of Design students as part of the 2021 Industry Insights Lecture Series. In a lively and engaging lecture, Jacalin gave great insight into her disciplinary practice of Product Design, her Design-led methodology, and the quantitative aspects of UX and UI.

She motivated our students to consider the importance of soft skills in addition to their hard skills as they prepare to enter industry. We are so grateful to Jacalin for this inspiring lecture, the feedback from the students was incredibly positive and clearly it had great impact across the year group.

Jacalin was brought in to basically redesign an entire product for us, she was able to quickly form relationships with the right people and was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire project.

Jac is able to take on and implement feedback as well as put forward improvements and suggestions. Her ability to understand the business and strategy was genuinely amazing and the end designs were exactly what we had hoped for. I would definitely involve Jac in future projects and highly recommend her skills.

Bringing Jacalin into the project was a game changer for us in terms of her expertise and experience with product design.

Having her involved helped us to elevate our thinking, especially around how to better serve our customers with their unique requirements - and then in the background she was a gun at coordinating other design resources, and making sure our design system was as effective as possible so that our engineering team lost no time understanding our designs and bringing them to life. Jac's mindset for product strategy is as sharp as ever and no matter how challenging the task is at hand, she always makes sure that we’re one step ahead of everyone else.

I loved learning the mastery of UX and design thinking from Jac. She was an absolute legend - making sure our class was always engaged and went out of her way to make the class time productive, fun and of course very relevant.

Jac also kept the learning pace at a good rate so that everyone understood the concepts and content on user experience design. Can’t thank her enough for such a valuable learning experience!!

Jac worked very closely with the Ikon strategy team to translate the Ikon brand into a strong and differentiating brand identity. She is full of ideas and continuously challenged us to keep improving and advancing the way we present ourselves through design.

Not only is Jac incredibly talented in the creative space, but she's also strategic, resourceful, reliable and when it comes to the quality of her work - it's beyond expectations - so much that I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I've been working away on a new UX flow for one of our features and hopefully, cut out a bunch of unnecessary steps and increase engagement on Collabosaurus. I hopped on a Zoom with Jac and she said "I'm going to tell you something you probably not going to like" turns out to be something I TOTALLY LOVED.

She cracked the issue. She made it so much simpler & it instantly felt like the UX flow was easy, fast, and intuitive.
